Luckiest Girl!

I am the luckiest girl! The other night I came home and Jared surprised me with this beautiful rose bush and my favorite ice cream, Rocky Road. It was a great surprise and I feel so lucky to have him in my life.I love how practical and romantic he is. He wanted me to have some flowers that I could enjoy for a long time. I love the pink roses! A girl just loves any kind of flower that she can get. He always does the little things for me to let me know that he was thinking of me during the day.  He never complains about doing the dishes or helping me clean the apartment. He accepts me for my craziness and I always have the funnest time with him. This is a tribute to you, J. Thank you for being the most supportive, loving and best husband a girl could ask for! Today and everyday I am thankful for you.

Summer is Officially Over!

I have a confession to make. I have actually had this blog set up for a while and I am just now getting to it. :) As my family can tell you, I tried having a blog once. However I only posted every other full moon, If that. So, I have vowed to do better here.

J and I are coming up on 3 months of being married and cannot believe how fast time has gone by. We have honestly been having a lot of fun and enjoying life together. Each time we drive by any of the singles activities on campus I feel so grateful not be in those shoes anymore. Life is so much more fulfilling and has deeper meaning now. We enjoyed what was left of our summer after we got married and now that school has started we are adjusting to "real" life again. J is working really hard and has been so supportive to me in starting school up again. This semester has been really busy, but I have been blesses with so many awesome opportunities. I have gotten involved in some research with a professor on campus and I will start volunteering at the Utah State Mental Hospital in the children's unit this week. J is so great in listening to me talk about all of the things that I get so excited about and I love that he gets excited about them as well.

Here are just a couple of picture from what we have done this summer and fall so far. Enjoy!

Enjoying Lake Powell! Man, it was so bright outside!
Jared would be the big splash of white out there and Pat is that really little black dot swimming to the other jet ski.
